Mr. Barcelo currently serves as the CEO of T1 Energy and Chairman of the Board of T1 Energy. 

He is also the founder and CEO of Alussa Energy LLC. Prior to founding Alussa Energy, he was Director of Research and Portfolio Manager at Moore Capital Management. Prior to that, he was Equity Research Analyst with Lehman Brothers and Bank of America. 

He has also served as Managing Director and Head of Oil & Gas at Renaissance Capital in Moscow. Mr. Barcelo has held the positions of Chief Financial Officer of Ruspetro plc and Head of Corporate Finance of Lekoil Limited in Nigeria. He has also been the Co-founder, Director, and Chief Financial Officer of Invicti Terra Argentina Limited in Argentina. 

Mr. Barcelo is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and is also a CFA charterholder.

Mr. Calio currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of T1 Energy. 

Mr. Calio has more than 30 years of energy experience on Wall Street, including working closely with the T1 management team in conjunction with its IPO and $704 million capital raise. Over his career, Mr. Calio has led more than $60 billion in capital raises and executed over $75 billion of M&A transactions, most recently as Managing Director at BTIG where he helped build an energy transition banking team and business. 

Prior to BTIG, Mr. Calio spent 14 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as a Managing Director within Equity Research, covering U.S. exploration and production companies, refiners and integrated oils. Mr. Calio was ranked by Institutional Investor’s Annual All-America Research Survey in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016 and Rising Star on Wall Street in 2011. 

Mr. Calio earned a BS from Lehigh University, a JD from Widener University School of Law and an LLM from Georgetown University Law Center.

Dr. Bentzen currently serves as Chief Technology Officer of T1 Energy. 

Prior to joining T1, Dr. Bentzen co-founded Otovo, the leading European residential solar energy and storage company, where he served as the Chief Technology Officer for more than six years. During his career, Dr. Bentzen has had wide experience in technology and strategic management from both industrial and academic R&D, including working as technology and management consultant for Nofas AS and as the Vice President, Technology for REC Technology U.S., Inc. in San Francisco. 

He holds a Master of Science in Physical Electronics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Oslo.
